350kg: Mobility and wheel chair lifts usual having a maximum lifting captaincy of 350kg. With specially designed weight trailers we can carry out periodical weight tests throughout the North West and North Wales or while you wait at our LOLER centre in Maghull. To comply with the LOLER Regulations a minimum of 1 weight test is to be carried out every year.

500kg – 1000kg:  Smaller commercial tail lifts can have a range of lifting capacities from 500kg to 1000kg. With specially designed weight trailers we can carry out periodical weight tests throughout the North West and North Wales or while you wait at our LOLER centre in Maghull. To comply with the LOLER Regulations a minimum of 1 weight test is to be carried out every year.

1500kg: Larger commercial tail lifts most commonly have a lifting captaincy of 1500kg. With specially designed weight trailers we can carry out periodical weight tests throughout the North West or while you wait at our LOLER centre in Maghull. To comply with the LOLER Regulations a minimum of 1 weight test is to be carried out every year however we highly recommend a minimum of 2.

9000kg: In specialist circumstances tail lifts can be built to operate with up to 9 tonnes of weight. Tail Lift Engineering can carry out weight testing while you wait at our LOLER centre in Maghull. 30000kg: With the introduction of hydraulically operated trailer decks, Tail Lift Engineering has invested heavily in the facility to carry out periodical weight testing for commercial trailers up to 30tonne at our LOLER centre in Maghull. To comply with the LOLER Regulations a minimum of 1 weight test is to be carried out on this captaincy every year however we highly recommend a minimum of 2.
